When Daisy's Not On The Job-Part 1 🐾

Running a cruelty-free product verification operation is serious business. The research. The sniff tests. The couch supervision. The strategic placement between mom and whoever dared to sit nearby. It's exhausting work, which is why Daisy takes her off-hours very seriously.

We thought you should know what your Chief Approval Officer gets up to when she's not busy changing the world one swap at a time.

🧘 The Yogi

Daisy discovered yoga approximately five minutes after we did and immediately concluded she was better at it than us.

Her signature pose — a variation of Downward Facing Dog that somehow involves being directly underfoot — has disrupted more sun salutations than we can count. She is unbothered by this. Presence, she says, is the whole point.

Namaste, Daisy. Namaste.

🌱 The Master Gardener

Daisy takes a very hands-on approach to gardening.

By hands-on, we mean nose-deep in whatever soil we just turned over, quality-inspecting every plant we attempt to put in the ground, and occasionally relocating things we've just planted to locations she finds more aesthetically pleasing.

We consulted no fewer than four gardening books before starting this season. Daisy consulted her nose. Her results were inconclusive but enthusiastic.

🛏️ The Bed Maker

Every morning without fail, Daisy assists with making the bed.

Her technique involves lying directly in the center of whatever section we are trying to tuck in and remaining completely, serenely, immovably still. She has never once moved voluntarily during this process. Not once.

We have considered this from every angle and concluded that she is not helping. She has considered it from every angle and concluded that she absolutely is.

🃏 The Card Shark

Daisy has a poker face that would make professionals weep with envy.

We have never been able to determine whether she actually understands the game or whether she simply enjoys the company. Either way, she takes her seat at the table with tremendous confidence and absolutely no invitation.

She has never won a hand. She has also never left the table voluntarily, especially if there are snacks.

Back To Business

At the end of a long day of yoga, gardening, bed supervision, and card games, Daisy returns to her most important post. - on the couch, next to mom, where she belongs.

Tomorrow, the cruelty-free product verification resumes. Standards must be maintained. Swaps must be approved. The world needs kinder choices.

Tested by me. Trusted by you.
